Michael Armstrong. 6-4-99. Between Thedford and Brownlee, NE. I observed this tornado for its entire life cycle, which lasted longer than 20 minutes. I was amazed by the "Wizard of Oz" appearance of the tornado as it roped out. Jim Cantore may have also been on this storm because I saw chasing with the Doppler on Wheels crew the next day.
